Fremantle International Portrait Prize

I took the plunge and entered the Fremantle International Portrait prize for the second time (first time 2013 picked as finalist)
I entered four images, all four made it through to the long list and one image made it through to the 105 out of 1600 images as a finalist.
I received a highly commended for my image, in the top 10 of all images submitted!
My images also received third place in the peoples choice vote.
I could not have been happier with the outcome! I feel very proud of my mummarazzi image!

Top 30 for 2015

This started of with the idea of a top 15 of 15 but I could not narrow it down to just 15 images, 30 was hard enough!
I meet a wonderful diverse group of clients this year, each one leaving me with a special memory and I feel privileged to be trusted to capture such personal memories for them.
I look forward to the wonderful people I will meet in 2016 who will continue to enrich my life further <3

Wishing you a Happy New Year with the hope that you will have many blessings in the year to come.

Hot air balloon Nationals Northam

I was lucky enough to have the balloon nationals right in my back yard (well the next town over) and managed to get over to watch the Night glow for the opening and one of the races.
It was so beautiful to watch them, the gorgeous bright colours lift of quietly into the air.
I was lucky to be able to go up in the RAAF balloon a few days before but I will put thos in another blog post :)

The language of love

I was incredibly privileged to be asked to capture the special day of this gorgeous couple.
Gorgeous day, amazing beautiful location and stunning bride and handsome groom so in love.

We are family

I had a lot of fun with this beautiful natural family.
There newest little edition was the sweetest little man, he ust wanted to be apart of everything around him and his big brother just loved my camera.
It was a real pleasure to be able to capture such a special time for them all ♥

Three generations

This was a beautiful family shoot that was a birthday present for dad/grandad ♥

So thoughtful to capture such wonderful memories to celebrate such a special milestone. The mountains in the back where just a extra beautiful component to complement a beautiful shoot of three generations ♥

Little boy blue

I am very privileged to be able to capture such precious little people in their first days of life, these early days can go by so fast in a haze of nappies feed and a tortures lack of sleep so these memories are so very important.
This little man surprised his parents by arrival ahead of scheduled and spent his first few weeks in the SCN so I was more privileged to capture this little miracle in the days he came home.
The love and pride from his mum and dad shone through the images.
